In addition, they might only use the products that they have in their salon because they do not want to run the risk of using supplies that are dirty or outdated and end up in a law suit. If you are planning to have someone attach your remi weaves at home or you are lucky enough to have a hair stylist that is willing to use the products that you bring in, you might be able to get the supplies at a discounted price online. 7:15 pm	Velvet Remi I was glad that we were alone in her salon because we were both in tears within a minute of my asking that. It was hard for her to work on my remi weaves, so she took a break and we talked about my wedding plans. Before we realized it, the afternoon was gone and she had only put in half of my remi weaves. She was supposed to close the salon and go home for dinner, but she called her husband and told him that she needed to finish putting in my remi weaves. He was excited when he heard that I was getting married and my aunt was to be my maid-of-honor. He said that we should not worry about dinner because he was going to get some food and bring it to the salon. She held one of the sections of velvet remi weaves against my natural hair and mixed it in but we could both see that it was different and would be obvious if she used them. I used her computer to pull up the we store where I purchased my velvet remi weaves and she saw that the one I chose was actually the proper color. Apparently, the company had made a mistake and sent me a different color instead. When I returned home, there was an email from the online store apologizing for the mistake and offering me a discount on my next purchase. Instead of replying, I deleted the email. When I first purchased remi weaves, I decided to have my friend use bonding glue to attach them instead of sewing them in with weaving thread. I realize now that I should have used less expensive weaves with the bonding glue or had the remi weaves sewn in. In fact, I really should have had it done by a professional hair stylist. Within just a few weeks, my remi weaves stated to come loose. My friend tried to reattach them to my hair, but she said that it was difficult because there was still residue from the original bonding glue and the new application of bonding glue would be adhering to that and not form as tight a bond as it is supposed to form. When I asked her what she meant, she told me that we were basically fighting a losing battle by trying to reattach the remi weaves that had come loose because they were even more likely to come loose with every additional reattachment using the bonding glue and eventually there would be too much build up of bonding glue to hold them well at all. I was rather upset when she told me this, but the thing that she said next was even worse. 5:08 pm	Velvet Remi by Outre They helped me find a great package of velvet remi weaves that were the right color and style for my skin tone and natural hair color. It was not hard for me to make the decision to spend the extra money to get remi weaves because of the high quality they last longer than weaves made with other types of hair strands. I chose to get several two inch wide clip-in weaves because I planned to have them colored pink, but it would not look professional for me to wear pink streaks in my hair while I was at work. By purchasing clip-in remi weaves, I would be able to take them out instead of worrying about trying to find a way to hide the pink hair while I was at work and then I could put them back in after work. I wanted to have my remi weaves dyed pink as a sign that I was a supporter of breast cancer survivors. My own mother is a breast cancer survivor. My sister and I are now very avid in the fight to find a cure for breast cancer. The pink ribbon can be seen on anything from my key chain to the mouse pad at my desk at work and I often wear something pink to work. I decided that the pink clip in remi weaves would show up when I was out in public, even if I was wearing a coat and hat in the winter. My natural hair is long and very dark brown so the pink really shows well. In order to have the right color of pink, I had to purchase very light colored remi weaves. 9:51 am	Velvet Remi Usually, the wearers of virgin Indian velvet remi weaves are celebrities or other notable people that have their weaves custom made for them and can easily afford to pay the price that can sometimes reach close to one thousand dollars. I never pay full price to have my hair done because my aunt owns a hair salon and she does it at the cost of the supplies. Recently, I asked if she could put some new remi weaves in my hair. I like that she orders her remi weaves directly from the manufacturer because it is less expensive then buying them at a wig shop. I always make sure that I am not interrupting her when she has regular customers at her salon. Not only do I like going to her to have my hair done because it is less expensive, but I also like that we are able to talk about anything since it is usually just us in the salon when she puts in my remi weaves. My mom, which was her sister, passed away when I was little and my aunt has always been the person that I go to when something is on my mind.
